I had the pleasure of attending the Toronto screening of Minimalism: A Documentary About The Important Things with The Minimalists, Joshua Fields Millburn and Ryan Nicodemus. Along with director Matt D’Avella, they have created a beautifully poignant film about living a meaningful life with less stuff. The film explores various “recipes” for minimalism, to live with intention and more mindfulness.
“Minimalism is a lifestyle that helps people question what things add value to their lives. By clearing the clutter from life’s path, we can all make room for the most important aspects of life: health, relationships, passion, growth, and contribution.”
– The Minimalists
My personal take away from the experience is to slow down, pause and give more attention to being in the present moment… and to give more hugs!
